Food For Change

For Healthier People & Planet

Food For Change is a student-led community collaboration to support food-insecure families with nutritious fresh local produce, and to promote environmental awareness and action on the sustainable handling of food and food waste.

Studies show 30-40% of the US food supply gets wasted, while one in six Americans experience food insecurity, and many people don’t have fresh food on their table. It creates enormous health, economic and environmental problems. Food For Change aims to contribute to community solutions, in collaboration with partners including local government agencies, multiple hunger relief organizations, farmers markets, nonprofits, our local boy scout troop, and YOU.

Join us with Food For Change! Come together to make positive changes in our own community towards our vision where no people are left without fresh food and no food goes to landfill waste.
